It was “destiny” for me to play under Conte – Morata
The Premier League champions shelled out a club-record £67million, to land the Spaniard from Real Madrid last week.
Conte left the Serie A giants to take over the Italian national team, just four days before Morata’s move from Real Madrid was confirmed. Morata spent two years with Juve, before Real activated their buyback clause to take him back to the Bernabeu.
“It was disappointing in 2014 when he went to Italy, but I played well and had a good year at Juventus, but I really want to work with this coach and finally I can.
“I know his work, the staff. I know it is a lot of tactics and I really like this game and I know how to play with this system.”
