The
Presidential Tribunal sitting in Abuja, on Wednesday, stroke out the
petition of Atiku Abubakar, alleging that results for the Feb. 23
presidential election were electronically transmitted, Igbere TV
reports.
Igbere TV recalls that the former vice president and his
party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had alleged that INEC
deployed servers for the last general elections.
But delivering
judgement, the presiding judge, Justice Mohammed Garba, said the
coalition of results for the national election were done manually, based
on evidences.
The Tribunal also ruled that the petitioners
failed to evidently prove their allegations that the third respondent
(INEC) deployed its servers for the said elections.
