Champions League: What Neymar said after PSG’s 2-1 win over Liverpool

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar has spoken up on his side's 2-1
Champions League win over Liverpool on Wednesday night.

Juan Bernat and Neymar scored for the hosts, before James Milner
pulled one back from the spot for the Reds.

Neymar has now stated that PSG won against Jurgen Klopp's side because
they showed great spirit.

The Brazilian, however, said that the Parisians are determined to go
as far as possible in the competition.

"I was not 100 per cent but this was an important match," Eurosport
quoted Neymar as saying at post-match.

"Injured or not, there was no way I was missing it.

"This was a real battle. I am very happy that we won – we showed great
spirit, which was crucial to our victory.

"We showed everyone that we are determined to go as far as possible in
the Champions League."

PSG will now tackle Bordeaux in their next match this weekend in the
French Ligue 1 fixture.
