Ekiti election: Governor Akeredolu reveals why Fayemi won

Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has congratulated the
newly-elected Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, on his
victory in Saturday's election in Ekiti State.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Ondo State
Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Yemi Olowolabi.

Akeredolu attributed Fayemi's victory to "sterling record in public
service, the tenacity of purpose, exemplary values, stupendous
goodwill and abiding grace of God."

While acknowledging the enormity of the task ahead of the new
helmsman, Akeredolu expressed optimism that "Fayemi's rich experience,
far-reaching contacts, resourcefulness and robust intellectual
capacity would undoubtedly help his iron cast resolve to restore hope
in Ekiti State."

Akeredolu also commended the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose and
his candidate in the election, Professor Kolapo Olusola-Eleka.
