Governor Shettima makes new appointments

Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima​,​ has approved the appointment of Alhaji Abba Mala as the new Provost of the Kashim Ibrahim College of Education, Maiduguri.
Until his new appointment, Abba Mala was the Deputy Provost of the College.

Shettima has also approved the appointment of Alhaji Abdallah Dala Hassan as the new Deputy Provost of the Kashim Ibrahim College of Education.
He was, until now, the Dean, School of Art and Sciences of the College.
Similarly, the Governor has approved the appointment of Engineer Iya Kaumi as the new General Manager, Borno State Agricultural Mechanization Authority (BOSAMA).
Until her new appointment, Engr. Iya Kaumi was the Agency’s Head of Mechanical Section.

The appointment of a new Executive Secretary for the Borno State Pilgrims Welfare Board has also been approved by Shettima.
He is Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Ali, who until now, was Chief Lecturer at the Kashim Ibrahim College of Education, Maiduguri.
The former Executive Secretary of the Pilgrims Welfare Board. Alhaji Aja Bukar has been re-assigned to the Borno State Local Government Pension Board as the new Executive Secretary.
All the appointment are effective from Monday, 20th November, 2017.

​Meanwhile, Governor Shettima has directed the Secretary to the Borno State Government, Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa to immediately put in motion the administrative machinery for the complete re-organization of the Borno State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
The aim is to rejuvenate the Board and re-align its operational activities for effective service delivery.
