Agbaso broke into secretariat, stole N19million – APGA alleges
National Chairman, Victor Oye, on Monday alleged that Agbaso, who is laying claim to the chairmanship of the party, “stole” N19 million and sensitive documents from his office when he (Agbaso) and his group broke into the secretariat last week.
“The real owners of the party are here to consolidate on the gains we have achieved.
“What happened on Thursday last week was shameful, intolerable, wicked and illegal, but for us, they came when we were not there because we had closed from the office.
“They broke into my office and took away N19 million which was saved to conduct primary election and other important documents.
“They said they took it away, but no, they stole it,” he said.
Oye said the court judgement which Agbaso relied on was a fallacy and that he (Oye) was suspended from the party as claimed by Agbaso.
He said that the Nnewi court judgement Agbaso was flaunting was granted in error and that he was not joined in the suit.
“I was not joined in the case, my name is not there. I am not a defendant or a plaintiff and so was Agbaso.
“So, where did he get the judgment from to be acting national chairman when he was not even in the line of succession in the party?
