PDP Crisis: Supreme Court judgment is victory over Satanism – Edo party chapter

The Edo State Chapter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has said that the landmark judgement of Supreme Court which declared Ahmed Makarfi the authentic leader of the Party implies that the satanic influences retarding the progress of the nation has been defeated.
The Secretary of the Party in the state, Hon. Felix Omi Imoisili, said this in reaction to the ruling of the Apex Court during an exclusive chat with DAILY POST on Wednesday.

According to him, the lack of virile opposition to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the country, owing to the leadership crisis in the PDP, was tantamount to Satanic influences working against the development of the nation.
He noted that Makarfi’s victory is celebrated across Nigeria because the hands that had tried to muzzle-up key opposition figures through the leadership crisis in the PDP has been defeated, adding that Nigerians can now look forward to a viable opposition that will keep the APC on its toes.

He said, “My reaction to today’s judgement is that of victory over Satanism. We have formally lain to rest the legal fireworks between Makarfi and Sheriff that had been on in all the courts. Today, the Supreme Court has laid it to rest.

“Today, I am very sure that it is not only PDP members that are celebrating the victory of the Makarfi group today. It is the entire Nigeria, because a country that those not have a viable opposition can never ever succeed.
“A country that does not have opposition can never develop. It can never move forward. You must have a viable opposition in any system, progress cannot be made.
“The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was trying to muzzle-up the main stakeholders of the PDP, and right now the Supreme Court has spoken and we are happy.

“We are delighted and I am saying again that it is not only PDP members that are celebrating. It is the entire country because it is for the good of Nigeria that today we have a viable opposition.”
