Poco Lee’s Team Finally Speaks on Rape Allegations, Clarifies “Drink Spiking” Claims
Poco Lee’s team releases official statement addressing rape allegations, says “drink spiking” is not part of allegations against him
The management and legal team of Nigerian dancer Poco Lee have released an official statement addressing the allegations against him in the United Kingdom, urging the public to avoid spreading unverified information about the case.
In the statement, the team noted that the matter is currently before the courts and stressed that allegations should not be treated as evidence of guilt until the case is determined through due process.
The team specifically addressed claims circulating online about “drink spiking,” stating that the allegation does not form part of the charges or allegations before the court.
“We are particularly concerned by the volume of unverified narratives currently circulating, including claims referencing ‘drink spiking,’ amongst other allegations which do not form part of any of the allegations or charges before the court,” the statement read.
Poco Lee’s team urged the media and members of the public to refrain from introducing details that are not part of the actual case, warning that such claims could fuel misinformation and unfairly prejudice the parties involved.
The team added that further updates would be provided through official channels as appropriate
