Customs Releases Final List Of Successful Candidates For 2024/2025 Recruitment

 The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II) in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.

The announcement was made on Monday in Abuja by the Service's spokesperson, Abdullahi Maiwada.

According to Maiwada, candidates are advised to visit the official NCS website, www.customs.gov.ng, or check selected national newspapers to verify their recruitment status and obtain details on the next stage of the exercise.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the NCS received 573,523 applications after advertising 3,927 vacancies across the Superintendent, Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres on December 27, 2024.

Successful candidates will receive further instructions through their registered email addresses and SMS notifications.

Upon receiving the notification, candidates are required to log in to update.customs.gov.ng using either their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.

Maiwada said the portal for uploading the medical certificates will be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and candidates must complete the process within one week of activation.

Candidates are also required to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept the provisional offer of appointment by clicking the "Accept Offer" button.

Thereafter, successful applicants will receive their Trainee Identification Number within one week, while further details on documentation and physical screening—including dates, venues and requirements—will be communicated through official channels.

The NCS warned that failure to comply with any of the requirements or deadlines may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer.

On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board (NCSB), the Comptroller-General congratulated all successful candidates and wished them success as they begin their careers in the Service.
