Federal Character Commission To Enforce Sanctions For Recruitment Violations

The Federal Character Commission is clamping down on irregular recruitment to ensure fairness across all geopolitical zones. Heads of MDAs who violate recruitment procedures or breach the Federal Character Principle will face prosecution under the FCC Establishment Act.

The Executive Chairman, Hon. Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran, emphasized that recruitment for over 125 vacancies must now be advertised in two national newspapers and on the official website for at least six weeks. All federal institutions must comply immediately to ensure equity in public service.
