Lagos State is tackling open defecation by deploying 1,710 public toilets and directing businesses like banks and filling stations to open their restrooms.

The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to end open defecation and improving public hygiene, announcing the availability of 1,710 functional public toilets strategically located across the state. 

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance sanitation for both residents and visitors, ensuring cleaner and healthier communities.
