Plateau Attack: Death Toll Rises To 27 In Angwa Rukuba Community

 Barr Dalyop Solomon Mwantiri, President of the Berom Youth Moulders-Association (BYM), who disclosed this on Monday said 14 people were killed instantly while 13 others died in the hospital.

Their corpses have since been returned to the community, he added.

The attack, which occurred on Sunday night, threw the densely populated area into panic as gunmen opened fire indiscriminately on residents

Mwantiri, who condemned the incident, described it as another sad episode in the recurring security challenges facing communities in the state.

The BYM urged relevant authorities to ensure the perpetrators are apprehended and brought to justice without delay.
