Yhemolee Addresses False Accusation Debate, Advocates Legal Protection for All
Night-life celebrity Yhemolee reacts to false rape allegation trend, says men also need protection from wrongful accusers
Nigerian media personality Yhemolee has weighed in on the recent r@pe allegation case that later turned out to be false, and his comments are stirring mixed reactions online.
In a lengthy post, he described the situation as “quite unfortunate,” saying society must protect women from rape while also ensuring men are not destroyed by false accusations.
According to him, wrongful claims can ruin lives permanently, stressing that some accused men have lost careers, reputations, and even their lives before the truth eventually surfaced.
He referenced past cases, including athletes whose careers were affected by allegations, such as former Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy, to highlight how damaging accusations alone can be.
Yhemolee also argued that false claims could indirectly harm real victims, warning that it may make people start demanding proof before taking genuine cases seriously.
His post partly reads:
“As much as we protect our women from rape, we should also protect men from false accusers too… If wrongful accusations continue, actual victims may not be taken seriously anymore.”
He ended by calling for balance, urging people to stop turning sensitive issues into gender wars and instead focus on humanity and justice for all parties.
