 Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed Secures Key Backing as Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo Orders Fast-Track for Baze University Aviation School with it Own Runway at Bwari

In a significant move for Nigeria’s aviation education sector, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, Chancellor of Baze University in Abuja, led a high-level delegation to the office of the Honourable Minister of Aviation earlier today. The purpose of the working visit was to advance plans for the proposed Baze University Aviation School.

The new institution is set to be located in Bwari and will feature its own dedicated runway for pilot training along with a full range of aviation-related courses. This facility aims to directly address the growing demand for skilled aviation professionals within the country.

Earlier today, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed , the Chancellor of Baze University, Abuja, led a high-powered delegation from the University to my office on a working visit. They came in respect of the proposed Baze University Aviation School, which is to be sited in Bwari, with its own runway for training of pilots and aviation-related courses.

I assured them of the full cooperation and support of the Federal Government towards a realisation of the project and immediately directed my Permanent Secretary and all relevant aviation agencies to hasten all bureaucratic processes to ensure its take-off.
