Europe’s top five leagues: Yamal breaks new record, surpasses Mbappe, others

 Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal, at the weekend, broke a new goal record in Europe’s top five leagues.

Yamal became the highest scorer under the age of 19 years in Europe’s top five leagues after scoring a goal against Mallorca as Barcelona won 3-0.

The Spain international surpassed Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe to set a new milestone in his career.

Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal, at the weekend, broke a new goal record in Europe’s top five leagues.

Yamal became the highest scorer under the age of 19 years in Europe’s top five leagues after scoring a goal against Mallorca as Barcelona won 3-0.

The Spain international surpassed Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe to set a new milestone in his career.

Yamal now has 24 goals, overtaking Mbappe, who had scored 23 for AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain before turning 19 on 23 December 2017.

Behind Yamal and Mbappe are Wayne Rooney (15 goals), Valeri Bozhinov (14 goals) and and Ansu Fati (13 goals).

Yamal will now hope to lead Barcelona to victory when they face Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey on Thursday.
