Reno Omokri Shows Evidence Of Misgovernance In Health Sector During Obi's Tenure

In a Twitter post, Reno Omokri said: "Please fact-check me: The first two photos show the state of the Mbauku General Hospital, Anambra, in 2013, after seven years under Peter Obi as Anambra Governor.

That hospital was a death trap under Peter Obi, and remained in that state of decay until 2019, when Governor Willie Obiano renovated it.

The third photo shows Dr Vincent Okpala, the then Anambra State Commissioner for Health, visiting the Mbauku General Hospital on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, to see how it had been left dilapidated and abandoned by Peter Obi.

Things were so bad that doctors went on strike for thirteen straight months under Peter Obi, and Anambra hospitals were closed.

Yet, today, this same Peter Obi is criticising the Tinubu administration's healthcare record, over an experience he claimed was meted out to the sister of a US-based Nigerian nurse named Chidera Ugwokeba.

My question to Peter Obi is this: If Chidera Ugwokeba's sister had gone to the Mbauku General Hospital in Anambra under Peter Obi as Governor, would she have survived?"
