His Excellency, The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has received over 5,000 new members into the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), at a grand rally organized to honor Members of the National Assembly who decamped from PDP to APC, on Saturday 18th October 2025.
Dignitaries at the event included the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, the Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Hon. Abbas Tajuddeen, the Speaker of the Kaduna State Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Liman, the Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas, members of the APC National Working Committee, and many other dignitaries.
The governor was warmly received by an electrifying crowd at the venue, Murtala Muhammed Square, where he acknowledged cheers and officially presented Hon Hussaini Abdulkarim Kero (Kaduna South), Hon Mustapha Aliyu Abdullahi (Ikara/Kubau) and Hon Sadiq Ango Abdullahi (Sabon Gari) to the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda.
Recognizing the role of Good Governance and Inclusive Leadership, the APC National Chairman commended Governor Uba Sani for positively changing the narrative in Kaduna state, through the delivery of people centered policies and projects, as well as ensuring equity in bridging the rural - urban divide across the state.
It is on record that the APC has consolidated majority among Kaduna Federal Lawmakers from only 4 members in 2023 to 12 Members as at October 2025.
