Coronavirus: Kwara Govt To Shut Down Schools From March 23
The Kwara State Government has said it would be shutting down schools in
the state from Monday, March 23, 2020. A statement on Wednesday by
Rafiu Ajakaye, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor AbdulRahman
AbdulRazaq, said it was part of the efforts and measures to contain the
global spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the state.
He urged people in the state to always maintain the highest level of personal hygiene and remain calm. “Adhere to all safety measures earlier announced by the Kwara State Ministry of Health and other national health bodies,” he stated.
