Honourable Members of The Lagos State Youth Parliament Commends President Buhari

 
Honorable Members of the Lagos State Youth Parliament,  commends the Federal Government of Nigeria on the bilateral agreement signed on the 23rd of October, 2019 by President Muhammadu Buhari and Russian President Vladimir Putin during the ongoing Russian-Africa Summit in Russia.

The bilateral relation between both countries have been strengthened to pursue the completion of partially completed, uncompleted and abandoned projects initiated by both countries especially the Ajaokuta Steel In Nigeria.

The approval giving by the President Of Russia on the request of President Buhari on the uncompleted and abandoned Ajaokuta Steel Rolling mill for both governments relationship for completion and commissioning of the plant another breakthrough for Nigeria in this period.

Having the Ajaokuta Steel Rolling company being completed will definitely lead to large creation of jobs opportunities for Nigerians and it youth.

Having the steel functioning to it fullest will equally increase our nation revenue generating base drastically.

The agreement between both governments includes

• To start new infrastructure projects and expand trade and investment opportunities, security and military cooperation amongst the two countries.

• To  support in the area of Job creation to save Nigeria foreign exchange for other important projects of National concern.

The Lagos State Youth Parliament congratulate President Buhari on the successful outcome of this bilateral meeting with the Russia Government.

The Parliament Calls on Nigerians both young and old to Continue to Support the president Buhari Administration.
