FEC Meeting: VP Osinbajo Commits ‘Blunder’ On Twitter

Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has committed blunder on his verified Twitter handle, @ProfOsinbajo, Igbere TV reports.

This was as the Vice President took to the micro-blogging social media platform, to announce today's Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

“Today, President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the Federal ECONOMIC Council...”, he wrote.

“We remain committed to improving the lot of the Nigerian people.”

He has since deleted the tweet.

Osinbajo’s blunder and tweet on “Economy”, instead of ‘Executive’, comes two days after Buhari disbanded his Economic Management Team and constituted a new Economic Advisory Council.

Today's FEC meeting, which was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, is the second since his inauguration for a second term.

President Buhari had, last Wednesday, September 11, presided over the first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting of his second term in office.

Igbere TV recalls that the maiden FEC meeting clashed with the Presidential Election Tribunal’s sitting, which upheld Buhari’s re-election as president.
