Transfer: Jurgen Klopp told to buy back Philippe Coutinho

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has been told to re-sign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona.

The advice was given by Liverpool legend, Phil Thompson.
The Brazilian left Liverpool for Barcelona in 2017 in some controversial circumstances but has not enjoyed his stay at Camp Nou.

He was jeered by Barca fans during the first leg of their Champions League semi final at Camp Nou.
“I would take him back in a heartbeat, but it would have to be now,” Thompson told Sky Sports News.
“You don’t want to leave it another 12 months, I think he still has the ability.

“He’s suffered at Barcelona. We’ve seen him playing out wide on the left, but he’s not Neymar.
“He’s not a left-winger and that’s where he’s playing at Barcelona; they don’t love him like Liverpool loved him.”
