EPL: Man United confirms Solskjaer as manager after sacking Mourinho

Former Premier League champions, Manchester United have confirmed that
former player, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, will take over as caretaker
manager until the end of the season following Jose Mourinho's sack.

Recall that Mourinho was on Tuesday sacked by United following the
club's poor form of runs this season.

United executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, who made the announcement
on Wednesday through the club's official website, said: "Ole is a club
legend with huge experience, both on the pitch and in coaching roles.

"His history at Manchester United means he lives and breathes the
culture here and everyone at the club is delighted to have him and
Mike Phelan back. We are confident they will unite the players and the
fans as we head into the second half of the season.

Speaking after his appointment, Solskjaer told Man United's official
website: "Manchester United is in my heart and it's brilliant to be
coming back in this role. I'm really looking forward to working with
the very talented squad we have, the staff and everyone at the club."

Solskjaer will hope to lead United to victory when they tackle Cardiff
City this weekend in the Premier League.
