Abia 2019: SDP vows to sack Gov. Ikpeazu, promises to create jobs

Chidi Nwosu, the Abia state chairman of the Social Democratic Party,
SDP, has vowed that his party, the APC will sack Governor Okezie
Ikpeazu-led administration in the upcoming 2019 governorship election
in the country.

Nwosu stated this in an interview with newsmen in Umuahia on
Wednesday, explaining that the party has mapped out strategies to oust
the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP-led government from power as the
governor had not done a enough to return to the state Government House
in 2019.

He expressed optimism that SDP will win next year's general election
in the state, promising that the governorship candidate of his party,
Hon. Blessing Nwagba, will fix the state's economy, create jobs and
fix moribund infrastructures in Abia if elected as governor.

According to the former Abia lawmaker, "Strategically yes, we will
sack the ruling PDP in Abia state. Now, we have a mother as a
governorship candidate and we have a youth, as the Deputy Governorship
candidate of SDP.

"So, if we mobilize Abia youths and mobilize Abia women, the election
is as good as having been won. They should know, it is no longer
business as usual, we have strategically pull off the rug under their
feet".
