2019: Ortom’s victory will be for Benue people – Akase
says the victory of Governor Samuel Ortom in next year's election will
be victory for the people of the state.
Akase stated this yesterday while playing host to Masev Youths in
Media, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the Benue
Peoples House, Makurdi.
He said a vote for Governor Ortom in the 2019 election is a vote for a
greater future of the state.
The Chief Press Secretary charged youths of Peoples Democratic Party,
PDP, in particular to take Governor Ortom's reelection campaign to all
corners of the state.
While thanking the youths for the visit, Mr Akase urged them to go to
their villages and canvass support for the Governor and enlighten
their people to beware of deceitful individuals who are going round
purchasing permanent voter's cards from unsuspecting members of the
public.
He admonished youths to make friends beyond their enclave as well as
assist those in need without asking where they come from, disclosing
that he had learnt the virtue from Governor Ortom who is open-minded
and does not discriminate.
Responding, leaders of the delegation, Philip Mbakuuv Ankyhquwa and
Collins Ahokegh said they had visited Mr Terver Akase to demonstrate
their solidarity to him and commend him for the great job he is doing
for his principal and Benue State.
