Lagos APC primary: Live Updates, Results and Situation Report

Today, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state, will pick
their governorship candidate for next year's elections.

The two major aspirants are incumbent Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and
Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Ambode is fighting a tough battle to remain in office for another four
years, as Sanwo-Olu has the backing of Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the National
Chairman of the party.

Tinubu and other APC leaders in the state have endorsed Sanwo-Olu for
the party's governorship ticket.

Ambode, apparently infuriated by the development, opened a can of
warns against Sanwo-Olu.

It remains to be seen how all these play out on Tuesday and which man
gets the ticket.

12.03pm: Ward C2, Alimosho LGA Babajide Sanwo – Olu – 16724 Akinwunmi Ambode – 3

12.01pm: Ward E2 Egbe idimu Sanwo-olu – 10,000. Ambode – 29

11.53am: Oshodi Afariogun Ward D2. Sanwo-Olu – 5,557 Ambode – 44
11.48am: Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA Sanwoolu 13,380 Ambode 115
11.46am: Alausa, Ward C. Sanwo-Olu – 960 Ambode – 4

11.31am: Kosofe LG Ward D, Emmanuel Primary School. Sanwo-Olu – 4,800
Ambode – 1,700

11.27am: Sanwo-Olu has won in Alausa ward, taking 960 votes while
Ambode had four votes.
