House of Reps adjourns plenary over lawmakers’ death

Members of the House of Representatives on Tuesday adjourned their
plenary to Thursday over the demise of their colleague, Funke
Adedoyin.

The motion for adjournment was moved by House Leader, Femi
Gbajabiamila, Tuesday morning. The House resumed Tuesday after over
two months in recess.

The House will now resume plenary on Thursday by 11am.

We had reported that Hon. Funke Adedoyin who represented Irepodun
Isin/ Ekiti /Oke Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara State passed away
in Abuja while treating an ailment suspected to be cancer.
