Buhari’s certificate: Fani-Kayode fires back at Femi Adesina for defending president

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, has berated President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina for calling the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and those demanding that the President presents his certificate as idle people.

Buhari had while submitting his presidential nomination form to the Independent National Electoral Commision, INEC, ahead of the February 2019 election, presented a sworn affidavit instead of his certificates.
In the affidavit, Buhari claimed his credentials are still with the Nigerian Army where he was an officer until his retirement in 1985.
Against this backdrop, PDP challenged Buhari to present his WAEC certificate, stressing that Nigerians will not “accept NEPA bill” this time around.

Reacting to the fuss created, Adesina had over the weekend lambasted PDP, saying, “only idle people discuss Buhari’s certificate.”
However, Fani-Kayode lambasted Adesina over his remark.
In a tweet, the PDP chieftain wrote: “Only idle people discuss Buhari’s certificate saga – Femi Adesina.

“Only slaves and serfs defend the indefensible and speak for the lifeless.”
