Bauchi 2019: PDP guber candidate, Bala Mohammed woos aggrieved APC aspirants
State, Senator Bala Mohammad Kaura has stated that he is ready to
accommodate aggrieved All Progressives Congress, APC, aspirants in the
state.
The former FCT minister assured members of the ruling party willing to
switch camps, of justice and equal treatment in the PDP.
Kaura exclusively told DAILY POST in Bauchi on Wednesday that his call
is to bring succour to the APC aspirants who were not allowed to
contest under the party's platform after paying for nomination forms.
"I want to carry not only APC aggrieved aspirants to my fold but all
those who want the state rescued out of the current challenges it is
facing under the APC-led government," he said.
The PDP guber candidate slammed the state governor, Abubakar, for not
paying pensioners' gratuity and better take-home pay for workers.
He cautioned APC not to hesitate to refund monies paid for nomination
forms to all the party's aggrieved aspirants in the interest of
justice since they were denied from contesting in the party's primary
elections.
"I will turn around Bauchi State if given the opportunity in 2019
apparently to salvage our people from APC failed promises," he stated.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate vowed to do justice to all,
irrespective of ethno-religious diversities in the state, as he
regretted that Nigeria has become more divided under the APC
administration.
He called on voters not to allow themselves be deceived like in the
2015 election by returning the PDP to power in 2019.
