LaLiga: Again, Gareth Bale speaks on Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit
room is now "more relaxed," following Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to
Juventus.
Bale also said that it was now not all about one player but more of the team.
Ronaldo left Madrid this summer after helping to guide the club to
their third consecutive Champions League trophy.
The Portuguese captain left Madrid as their all-time leading scorer
with 451 goals.
He also helped the club to win two La Liga titles, four Champions
League trophies and the World Club Cup on three occasions.
However, Bale feels that with Ronaldo now gone, the team are more
focussed on improving as a "unit" rather than solely relying on the
33-year-old's strengths.
"Obviously it's going to be a little different from having such a big
player there," Bale told the Daily Mail.
"It's maybe a bit more relaxed, yes. I suppose there is more of a
team, more working as one unit rather than one player."
