Bruce has assured Governor Ortom that he is not alone, adding that he
and other lawmakers in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will be by
his side.
This is coming after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
(EFCC) accused Ortom of 22 billion Naira fraud immediately after he
announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to
the PDP.
In a tweet on Wednesday afternoon, Ben Bruce assured that PDP and its
members will stand by Ortom all the way.
He wrote, ''Ortom, you are not alone.
''They can bring the police and the EFCC against you but in good times
and in bad times, we will be by your side, standing shoulder to
shoulder with you to uphold genuine democracy for the people of Benue
and Nigerians."
