What Dankwambo said about Saraki’s defection from APC to PDP

The Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has reacted to
the defection of Senate President Bukola Saraki from the All
Progressives Congress, APC.

We reported that Saraki on Tuesday announced his defection over claims
that the APC took the electorates for granted.

Saraki said "I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive
consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives
Congress (APC)."

Reacting to the recent development, Dankwambo writing on his Twitter
page, welcomed Saraki to the PDP.

According to him, now was the time to build a new Nigeria following
the Senate President's defection.

Damkwambo wrote: "Welcome back home, my dear brother and friend Bukola Saraki.

"Time to build a new Nigeria."

Meanwhile, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All
Progressives Congress (APC), has queried the Senate President, Bukola
Saraki, asking him to respond within 48 hours why disciplinary action
ought not to be taken against him, for breaching article 21 of the
party's constitution.
