EPL: Petr Cech fires back at Bayer Leverkusen for mocking him

Legendary goalkeeper, Petr Cech has hit back at German Bundesliga
side, Bayer Leverkusen after he was mocked by the club for his mistake
in Arsenal's defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.

Cech was tasked with playing the ball out from the back by new Gunners
boss Unai Emery, but the tactic nearly backfired in the first half
against Manchester City.

After receiving a back-pass from midfielder, Matteo Guendouzi, the
former Chelsea goalkeeper came close to passing the ball into his own
net.

Emery started Cech ahead of his £22 million summer signing, Bernd
Leno, who was brought in from Bayer Leverkusen.

The Leno's former club, Bayer Leverkusen took the opportunity to mock
Cech on Twitter for his error against City.

Cech, however, fired back at the Bundesliga side on Monday by
suggesting that they have not shown "professionalism and
sportsmanship."

"At Arsenal, we share important values which make us a big club not
only on the football side," Cech posted on Twitter.

"Fair competition, professionalism and sportsmanship are the biggest
ones you teach young footballers and it's sad to see when other clubs
don't share the same values @bayer04_en."
