APC will win Abia, Gov. Ikpeazu has lost touch with people -Guber aspirant, Nwosu
Abia State, Friday Nwosu, has declared that the incumbent Governor of
the state, Okezie Ikpeazu has lost touch with the people of Abia.
He boasted that his party, APC, has the capacity to defeat the Peoples
Democratic Party-led government in the state come 2019.
Nwosu, who made his opinion known in a chat with DAILY POST on
Wednesday, claimed that Ikpeazu was busy doing the bidding of the
cabal which brought him to power rather than working for the
development of Abia state.
According to the governorship hopeful, "APC has the capacity to
dislodge the current governor because he has lost touch with our
people. He came to do the bidding of the cabal that sent him and our
people are disenchanted.
"The Governor comes from the same area with me and there is a road
that runs from Ogbor Hill in Aba through our villages to Umuahia and
that road was constructed by a regional minister of works in the
defunct eastern region and he has not reconstructed up to three miles
of that road.
"So, our people have seen that he is not doing anything and he has
lost bearing with them, which is why they will queue behind APC during
the next election."
