Transfer: Omeruo signs new deal

Lucky Omeruo has signed a two-year contract with Palanga FC in Lithuania.

Lucky is the younger brother of Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo,
who recently re-joined Chelsea.

His London based agent, Akorede Hutman, who facilitated the deal,
confirmed the development to journalists.

"It is true that he has signed and this has caused great celebration
for the Omeruo family", he said.

"After considering the different options on the table, we decided to
sign with Palanga because the club showed how serious they were about
adding quality to the squad.

"The club presented a good offer for a player of his pedigree so let
us see how it goes in the first year of his contract and then review
to see how things are going."

Akorede also manages Abdullahi Alfa and Akinjide Idowu from Nigeria's
U17 world cup squad
