Transfer news: How Barcelona are disrupting Real Madrid’s bid to land Hazard
only as a ploy to disrupt their rivals Real Madrid's chase for the
player.
Real are currently in the market for a new Galactico, following
Cristiano Ronaldo's switch to Juventus.
Hazard remains at the top of president Florentino Perez's wishlist,
but the Blues are playing hardball over any potential deal and are
demanding €200m (£178m).
Madrid have been trying to negotiate down the price, but 'interest'
from Barca could instead see them having to pay more than Chelsea's
asking price.
According to Spanish publication, OK Diario, Barca's hierarchy are
well aware they will be unable to prise Hazard away from west London
this summer and are now only pursuing him to make life difficult for
their rivals.
