Reno Omokri reacts as Gov. Ortom dumps APC for PDP

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan has
reacted to the resignation of Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom
from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his decision to join the
Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

We recalls that Ortom on Wednesday announced his resignation from the
All Progressives Congress, APC

Ortom in a Statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Tever Akase said
the governor has officially joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Reacting through his Twitter page, Omokri congratulated Ortom for dumping APC.

He wrote, "I congratulate Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, for
coming to his senses and leaving @OfficialAPCNg, the party of sorrow,
tears & blood, for @OfficialPDPNig, the party of joy, laughter and
prosperity. No Benue son should remain in a party that does nothing
when herdsmen kill you!

"Let me, on behalf of former President @GEJonathan, welcome Benue and
her people back to the PDP. We will protect and progress you.

"No more will you observe mass burials in Benue. With the PDP, you
will observe mass movement from poverty to prosperity and from sadness
to gladness!"
