Ortom: Ben Bruce reacts to impeachment notice on Benue Governor
Bruce, has reacted to the impeachment notice served on Governor Samuel
Ortom of Benue State.
Recall that about eight lawmakers from the State House of Assembly had
yesterday issued the State Governor, Samuel Ortom an impeachment
notice.
In a swift reacting, the governor insisted that the eight lawmakers
lacked the constitutional powers to remove him from office.
However, Bruce noted that the process of impeaching Ortom and the EFCC
investigation on his administration was not a surprising coincidence.
He tweeted on Tuesday, "It is hard, very hard, to believe that the
illegal attempt to impeach Governor Sam Ortom and the EFCC
investigation on Mr. Ortom's government announced today are just
coincidences.
"I have never seen such a convenient coincident in all my years on earth."
