El-Rufai appoints clerks for Kaduna LG legislative councils [Full list]

Governor Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai has approved the appointments of clerks
for the legislative councils of the 23 local governments.

The local government councils in Kaduna State are run on the
presidential model, with elected councillors constituting the
legislative arm.

A statement signed by Samuel Aruwan, spokesperson to the Governor,
disclosed that the appointments are in line with the provision of
Section 16(1) and (2) of the Local Government Law No.3 of 2018, and
the Kaduna State Local Government and Staffing Order, 2017.

The appointment of the clerks will enable the legislative chambers of
the local governments to consolidate and function efficiently with
time.
