Ekiti guber: Tinubu speaks on why electorates must vote for APC on Saturday
has described his party as a "painkiller."
Tinubu said this while urging people of the state to vote for the
party's candidate, Kayode Fayemi.
He said this while speaking at the grand finale of the APC's
governorship campaign rally in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, on
Tuesday.
The former Governor of Lagos State also urged people of the state not
to fall for any form of intimidation, stressing that APC will protect
them.
He said, "APC is a painkiller. Take APC to ease your pains.
"Do not allow anybody to intimidate or make you afraid. You are
protected and you will be protected.'
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his effort at rebuilding Nigeria.
He said, "It is not easy to rebuild what has been destroyed.''
Tinubu, while recounting the nobility and honesty of Buhari, said the
President then built three refineries which PDP tried to dismantle and
sell.
He said, "One old man, baba, at the back of my house; I am from Lagos
started dismantling the refineries and wanted to sell them.
"The old man brought turbines for electricity, but did not provide
pipelines for the diesel to the turbines.''
