The Senator representing Bayelsa East in the National Assembly, Ben
Bruce, on Wednesday reacted to the invasion of Ekiti government house
and alleged plan to assassinate Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele
Fayose.

DAILY POST had reported that Fayose was on Wednesday reportedly
teargassed by security operatives in the Government House, Ado-Ekiti.

His Special Adviser on Public Communication and New Media, Lere
Olayinka who confirmed the incident on Twitter said Fayose was
teargassed by policemen who laid siege at the Government House and was
now receiving treatment at the Government House's clinic.

Reacting to the development, the Senator said, "It is not a
coincidence that all the mouthpieces of the @OfficialPDPNig are being
targeted even unconstitutionally.

"Today's attack on @GovAyoFayose by the @APCNigeria Govt, shows the
depth of lawlessness of this administration. We are losing our
country. Enough is Enough!"
