2019: Why Igbo may ignore PDP, R-APC, others to vote for Buhari – APGA member, Ezeonwuka
APGA, Board of Trustees, BoT, has said any political alignment that
does not give people of the South East the Presidential slot in 2023
will not stand.
Ezeonwuka said Igbo will make do with "this madness called Buhari
administration for another four years," if the alliance of political
parties fails to zone the Presidency to the South East.
He made the remark while reacting to the alliance between the Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, Reformed -APC, and other political parties.
Addressing journalists in Oba, Idemili South local government area of
Anambra state on Monday, the APGA BoT member noted that the second
term for President Muhammadu Buhari can be managed by the South East
if it can guarantee Igbo presidency in 2023.
According to Ezeonwuka, this is a better option than following other
sweet-tongued political parties and politicians who do not have the
interest of Ndigbo at heart.
He said: "Any alignment that will not give Igboman presidency in four
years time will not work. We can manage this madness called the Buhari
administration for another four years, provided the south-east zone
will get the presidency at the end of the four years."
