He added that the state government has also been intimated of the development through the Deputy Governor, Mrs Titilayo Laoye-tomori.
“We are fervently praying for their quick return, at least, that is the first thing, we have also contacted the Commissioner of Police, the Director of DSS, and other security agencies who have swung to action to free them.
“At present, nobody has reached out to us for ransom, we are believing in God for their safe return “, he said.
The pastor, alongside seven other members were said to be returning from a meeting at Ile Ogbo, another town within the axis when the incident happened.
A cleric in the church, while confirming the incident said two church leaders who were taken away with the pastor were one Mr. Bankole, who is an engineer and Mr, Omodunbi.
According to him,”They were returning to Osogbo from Ile Ogbo when suspected Fulani herdsmen abducted them. They went for a meeting in respect of Father’s Day and they were on their way back to Osogbo when the incident happened.”
