Accord party vows to sack APC, PDP in Kogi

The Kogi State chairman of the Accord Party, Alhassan Adakeke has expressed the resolve of the party to retire the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the political space of the state come 2019.

Adakeke who spoke on Friday in Lokoja during the inauguration of the leaders’ Consultative Forum of the party, said both the APC and PDP have failed people of the state in the last two decades, hence their resolve to send them parking.
He said by todays inauguration, Accord Party is being repositioned to be the engine room of major opposition parties in the state, adding that the party is in fruitful discussions with the Labour Party, the United Labour Parties and the National Coalition Movement for the adoption of the party as a platform for its political activities towards the new change.

He charged those inaugurated to work assiduously in their various local government areas and communities to ensure resounding victory for the party come 2019.
A potential governorship aspirant under the platform of the party, Prince Abdullahi Muhammed, aka, Elephant, said the party was poised to spring surprises come the next election.
On his part, a House of Representative aspirant for Idah Federal Constituency under Accord Party, Egbunu Amanabo Yusuf said he would ensure effective representation for the people if he eventually actualises his political ambition come 2019.
