The chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Bogoro LGA of Bauchi
State, Mr Daniel Komo Musa has alleged that the protest staged by
Speaker Yakubu Dogara’s APC faction following the fallout of the party’s
congresses, was an indication of the fever of losing election ahead of
2019.
Musa exclusively hinted DAILY POST in an interview in Bauchi, saying
the end of the road for the speaker’s faction has come, attributing same
to their cold political war with Governor Abubakar.
“Let me inform you that some founding fathers of the APC have
contacted us they they are willing to defect to the PDP before it may be
too late, as campaign may soon intensity,” Said Musa.
The PDP chairman stressed that even if Dogara dumps the APC to any other political party, he will not win.
He said the PDP was fully re-positioned and branded to take over power from the ruling party.
According to him, ”The protest staged by Dogara’s APC faction in
Bogoro and Tafawa Balewa has further exposed them to ridicule and hatred
in the country.”
He pointed out that PDP’s doors were always open to accommodate APC supporters to its fold, saying APC is not popular in Bogoro.
Musa maintained that PDP was a party to beat in 2019 as the it has
mobilized voters to kick APC out of office, saying insecurity was their
major problem.
