Premier League: Mourinho speaks on Paul Pogba’s display against West Brom
helping Manchester City win the Premier League title.
Mourinho's men suffered a shock defeat to West Brom in the Premier
League on Sunday.
The outcome of that game meant that Manchester City were crowned
Premier League champions.
West Brom's Jay Rodriguez scored the only goal of the game against a
lacklustre United.
Mourinho has been publicly critical of Pogba on a number of occasions
this season.
And he again singled out the Frenchman for blame after Pep Guardiola's
men were crowned champions,
The former Real Madrid boss singled Pogba's frustrating display before
he was hauled off in the 58th minute.
He told reporters after the game, "In the first-half, I felt I had to
bring one player with more dynamic and a player that runs more and has
more touches of the ball.
"I had to make a decision to remove one midfield player and bring in
Jesse Lingard and then after that I wanted more width.
"Paul [Pogba] had a yellow card and before that he had a situation not
for a second yellow but you never know in football.
"So I reacted to that. "Paul's game was complicated like many others,
always one more touch.
