Champions League: Puyol sends message to Barcelona players, fans, over 3-0 loss to Roma
former teammates and fans of the club following their 3-0 loss to Roma
on Tuesday.
Barcelona fell 3-0 to Roma in Rome after winning their first leg 4-1
in Camp Nou. The Italians advanced on an away goal.
After the Champions League quarter final exit, the former Barcelona
captain took to Twitter to address the players and fans.
Puyol wrote, "It's a blow, a hard day, but we can't burn everything
down now, we have two titles to win. Now more than ever, long live
Barca!"
Puyol was at the Stadio Olimpico last night, alongside Roma's great
Francesco Totti, who, of course, was much happier with the result.
