Fuel Scarcity: Man arraigned over N6.75m petrol supply scam
The suspect was charged on a three-count of conspiracy to obtain under false pretense, fraud and stealing.
Mameh said Ajogu persuaded the complainant, Oguntelure Olusoye Isaac, that he would supply him 45,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), at N135 per litre, at a total value of N6,750,000, “a representation he knew to be false.”
The alleged offences, he said contravened sections 287, 314(a)(b) and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
Ajogu, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
He, however, adjourn the case till January 30 for mention.
