How EFCC officials slapped me, sprayed tear-gas on my 4-month old baby – Wife of Innoson’s CEO [VIDEO]

Wife of the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Innoson Motors has narrated how the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, slapped her.
She also claimed that the officers who came to arrest her husband, sprayed tear-gas all over their compound knowing she has a 4-month old baby.

Narrating to the press how her husband was arrested by the EFCC officials, the woman said she only demanded to know what her husband did to warrant his arrest.
According to her, the head of the EFCC personnel also confirmed to her that they were acting based on the fact that Innocent Chukwuma is an Igbo man.
She narrated, “Chief (Chukwuma) came down when he was sure that the men were from the EFCC.
“You know for someone to just come down in such situation, he has to be sure. It has been happening. Some people will come like army people, you come down and they kidnap you.

“The Chairman came down and said, ‘can you tell me exactly what I did that you people should do this kind of thing to me in my own house.’
“And when I went to their (EFCC’s) overall and asked him, ‘sir, the Chairman has come down just as you people wanted him, please can you just tell me exactly what he did, at least let me have a clue of why you are taking him out of my house?
“My Mum was like, ‘why are you people doing this? Is it because we are Igbo?
“And he (the leader of the operatives) now answered back, ‘yes because you are Igbo.’

“I was like, ‘what! We are one Nigeria you can’t answer that.’ And the next thing I got on my chick was dirty slap. The head of the officers slapped me. And I said sir, ‘you have just confirmed that you are acting because we are Igbo by slapping me. And I got it. We are Igbo but remember you are a Nigerian. You are Federal Government representative, but we are one Nigeria.
“Chief entered the car smoothly and they left.”
Asked if the officials injured anyone in the house, she added, “They were throwing tear-gas everywhere knowing that a 4-month old baby was in the house.
“Nobody fought them. The staff that came were shouting on solidarity. Nobody fought them. I personally made sure they did not do so. I begged the staff not to do anything to them. I told them not to obstruct justice and allow them (EFCC) do their work and the staff listened.”
