EPL: Thierry Henry questions Wenger’s decision against Crystal Palace
Arsenal traveled away to beat Crystal Palace 2-3; a goal from Mustafi and a brace from Alexis was enough to fire the North London club a deserved win.
The former Barcelona star also said Wenger did not need to play three centre-backs against striker, Christian Benteke.
Asked whether Arsenal’s 3-0 loss to Palace last season was a reason behind the change in tactic tonight, Henry told Sky Sports: “Worried might not be the word but they’re obviously aware of what they can do, especially on the wings.
“So they want to be sound on the right and on the left and having people to deal with Benteke.
“But they’re obviously aware of what Crystal Palace can do and produce.
“So they went with five at the back.”
Meanwhile, Wenger has equaled Sir Alex Ferguson’s record of 810 Premier League matches.
