NSCDC seal 2 private guard companies in Kogi
A statement issued to DAILY POST on Wednesday by the command Public Relations Officer, DSC Alex Agiri, noted that, the two companies were sealed for lack of compliance.
According to the statement, ” the state commandant in his quest for professionalism embarked on patrol to check the influx of unlicensed private guard companies in the state. In the course of the monitoring and supervision, the above named private guard companies were sealed”.
Meanwhile, the command has observed the alarming rate of cyber crimes on the NSCDC website on employment racketeering, impersonation and defrauding.
Agiri said, ” the corp wishes to state that NSCDC is neither recruiting or replacing personnel. Any one who falls into the drag net of any fraudster does so at his or her detriment. Any one who who offers money for the purpose of securing a job does so at his or her own risk. Both the giver and taker of such money are liable to be persecuted in the court of law.”
On the other hand, Agiri explained that the command had lived up to expectation in recording laudable landmarks in fulfillment of the corps mandate especially in the area of checkmating crimes and criminalities in the state.
